Signing up for your Ocean User Account
To track the status of your referrals or communicate with a referral recipient following the initial referral, you need a secure Ocean account.

Configuring your EMR with Ocean
These reference guides will walk you through the steps to configure your TELUS PS Suite, OSCAR or Accuro Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to send or receive eReferrals directly from your EMR using Ocean. Prior to configuring your EMR, please ensure your Ocean account and site have been created (see the Signing up for Your Ocean User Account reference guide for instructions).
Setting up your Ocean Account
Before you begin sending eReferrals, please configure your Ocean account for optimal use of the Ocean eReferral Network. This includes linking your EMR user to your Ocean user account, setting up an email to receive notifications related to sent eReferrals, and setting up a delegate user to send eReferrals on your behalf (if applicable).

These reference guides will help you become more familiar with Ocean and walk you through the steps to send an eReferral from your TELUS PS Suite, OSCAR or Accuro Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Prior to sending an eReferral from your EMR, please ensure to set up your Ocean account and configure your EMR (see reference guides below for instructions).
Sending an eReferral from the Ocean Portal
This reference guides will help you to become more familiar with Ocean and walk you through the steps to send an eReferral from the Ocean Portal. The reference guide is intended for eReferral senders not currently using an integrated Electronic Medical Record (i.e. Telus Practice Solutions Suite, OSCAR or Accuro).
Prior to sending an eReferral from the Ocean Portal, please ensure to set up your Ocean account (see reference guide below for instructions).

This is the latest version of the Ocean custom form. Current Ocean users may want to update to the latest version of the custom form.

This is the “paper clip” option on the Ocean custom form that allows you to green bar and export notes as a pdf.

This is the eReferral custom form that shows you the status of your referral.
